You will actively contribute to the code base while actively collaborating with multi subject area team members and customers. You'll use your critical thinking skills to translate storyboards and use cases into applications that give Fidelity a strategic edge.

Strategic Advisors Technology (SAT) is looking for a Principal Software Engineer who has strong understanding of database technologies and experience building enterprise cloud enabled distributed systems. We are looking for individuals who continually strive to advance engineering excellence and technology innovation.

TheExpertiseWe're Looking For

  • Expertise writing Oracle SQL and PLSQL code, performing data analysis, data modelling, designing and implementation of data APIs and performance tuning.

  • Expertise writing and maintaining batch jobs with technologies like ETL/Informatica and Autosys

  • Understanding of fundamental design principles for building a scalable application

  • Experience following ATDD (acceptance test driven development) and writing automated tests for database code.

  • Experience with cloud technologies is a bonus: Snowflake, S3

  • Interest in writing clean, testable, readable, easily maintainable, and performant code.

  • Knowledge in mid-tier technologies like Java, messaging technologies, web container and understanding how they interact with data.

  • Comfortable working in an Agile software delivery environment, with exposure to continuous integration and continuous delivery tools.

  • Ability to translate storyboards and use cases into applications that give Fidelity a strategic edge with critical thinking and strong problem-solving abilities.

  • Understanding of CI / CD processes & tools and are passionate about delivering high quality software.

  • Providing leadership guidance, mentorship to empower team members to their optimum performance levels and career potential.
