Description:

FIC America Corp. is a global Tier 1 automotive components manufacturer centrally located in the Northwest Suburbs of Chicago. We are actively seeking a Bilingual Training Specialist English/Spanish.


Job Description

  • Create training materials, manuals, and documentation to support learning initiatives
  • Develop and conduct training programs for new hires and current employees 
  • Film, edit and create (most are already made) training videos and other training material based on technical standards 
  • Conduct trainings and evaluations for all employees
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts in training development and delivery
  • Assess training effectiveness to ensure incorporation of taught skills and techniques
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training sessions and make necessary adjustments
  • Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting assistance to ERP system users
  • Administer the supplier survey, compiling scorecards and coordinate the supplier performance review with Quality Control and Production Control
  • Coordinate and manage the delivery of the digital quarterly FIC Insider Newsletter
  • Work with support groups to ensure training programs are integrated seamlessly
  • Periodically review ongoing programs to ensure they reflect any updates or changes
  • Coordinates or performs administrative functions necessary to deliver and document training programs
  • Follow standard work instructions
  • Handle input of scrap tickets
  • Complete Hoshin items
  • Perform other duties assigned

Other Job Functions

  • Comply with FIC’s Safety policies and procedures
  • Comply with TS 16949 and ISO 14001 procedures and standards
  • Perform 5-S activities
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of training experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Must be bilingual in English and Spanish
  • Must possess strong computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Ability to learn programs associated with creating (most are already made) and editing videos
  • Must have proficient oral and written communication skills
  • Must be willing to cross-train
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license to travel between our locations

Pay Range $60,000 - $70,000/year based on qualifications and experience
