VIP Staffing is immediately hiring a Fiberglass Craftsman for a leading organization in Rio Rancho, NM
This is a Full Time Temp to hire Opportunity
Schedule is Mon-Friday 7am-3:30 pm
Pay is $18-$20 per hour

As a Fiberglass Technician you will:
  • Perform fiberglass and composite repairs on aircraft components to ensure structural integrity.
  • Apply wet lay-up techniques using epoxy resins and fiberglass or carbon cloth.
  • Utilize tooling and fixtures to facilitate accurate and effective repairs.
  • Assist with pre-preg, vacuum bagging, and spray-painting tasks as needed.
  • Ensure all repairs meet stringent quality and safety standards.
Fiberglass Technician candidates must meet the following requirements for consideration:
  • 2-3 years of hands-on experience working with fiberglass or carbon fiber materials.
  • Skilled in wet layups and freehand composite repairs.
  • Experience cutting, grinding, and fitting composite parts using hand tools.
  • Background may come from aviation, marine, automotive, or manufacturing environments.
  • Comfortable working with resins, hardeners, and composite repair processes.
  • Strong focus on quality workmanship and detail.
  • Ideal candidate has prior aviation composite repair experience and can work independently on complex repairs.
