Fiber Optics Relocation Assistance Jobs in Alabama

We're looking for an OSP Fiber Technician with experience in outside plant telecom work, not inside data center cabling. Candidates should have hands-on experience with fiber installation, conduit, innerduct, handholes, vaults, and underground or aerial fiber systems.

Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and support OSP fiber infrastructure.
• Coordinate fiber splicing, testing, and documentation.
• Read blueprints and ensure quality installations.
• Maintain as-builts, labeling, and test results.
• Follow all safety standards and job site requirements.

Requirements:

• OSP, fiber optic, cable, or telecommunications experience.
• Ability to read construction drawings and blueprints.
• Comfortable working outdoors, on ladders, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to work occasional nights or weekends.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bridgeport, AL.

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
