Job Description

The Network Operations and Engineering team is responsible for designing an efficient and reliable network and operating it at scale. As a member of the team, you have a direct impact on design and feature enhancements to keep our systems running smoothly. You also ensure that our network is designed on time and within allocated budgets. Keeping the network design efficient and reliable ensures that our users stay connected with our suite of applications, products and services.

Responsibilities:

Support the design cycle of the Outside Plant Fiber Network from preliminary design through to a fully constructible job package.

Support new developments, network relocations and network upgrades.

Support finance metric development, reporting and dashboard reporting.

Manage and support ticketing system, review requests for information from our vendors.

Review design specs and documentation.

Create workflows and processes.

Develop and maintain project schedules

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
BS degree required
5 years of telecommunication networks design experience.
5 years of Outside plant (OSP) experience.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
5 years of FTTH (Fiber-to-the-Home) design experience.
Proven project management skills
GIS experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Excellent troubleshooting skills and creative problem solving abilities under pressure.
Ability to work cross-functionally and learn quickly.
Excellent problem solving skills
High interpersonal skills
Entrepreneurial spirit
