Job description

Mill-Tel, Inc. is seeking motivated individuals to join our team as Fiber Installation Technicians. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation and repair of fiber services, including splicing, wiring, and equipment management. You will complete installation and service calls according to the daily schedule, ensuring high-quality service and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install and repair fiber optic services, including splicing and equipment setup.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve service issues efficiently.
  • Ensure work meets Mill-Tel, Inc.’s standards and industry requirements.
  • Maintain professional communication with customers and team members.
  • Safely utilize tools, ladders, and equipment in accordance with company safety standards.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Ability to work outdoors in varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions.
  • Physical ability to climb and perform tasks at heights.
  • Capability to lift up to 70 lbs.
  • Manual dexterity to operate electrical tools and splice cables.
  • Valid state driver’s license, good driving record, and proof of vehicle registration/insurance meeting Mill-Tel, Inc.’s MVR policy requirements.
