Entry-Level Fiber Technician (4–6 Week Project) Located in Borger, TX

We are hiring Entry-Level Fiber Technicians for a 4–6 week project. This role is ideal for candidates with experience pulling fiber optic cable, low-voltage wiring, electrical work, construction, or other hands-on outdoor field work.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with pulling and routing fiber optic cable.
  • Install and secure low-voltage cabling along designated pathways.
  • Work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Follow project specifications and safety guidelines.
  • Support technicians with installation and site preparation.

Requirements:

  • Experience with fiber pulling, low-voltage wiring, electrical wiring, or construction preferred.
  • Ability to work outdoors and perform physical labor, including lifting and climbing ladders.
  • Dependable, safety-conscious, and eager to learn.
  • Reliable transportation to job sites.

Project Length: 4–6 weeks

The project will be in Borger, TX, and is set to last 4-6 weeks.

This is a Contract position based out of Amarillo, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
