Job description

Sun West Mortgage Company is looking for a Insuring Assistant.

This position performs a variety of moderately complex insuring tasks and duties that involve multi-tasking with efficiency, and maintaining a high level of accuracy. The role will require the individual to apply FHA and VA knowledge just to name a few. The Insuring Assistant will log into the VA and FHA Agency portal to input loan data in the insurance application to obtain the Mortgage Insurance Certificate and Loan Guaranty Certificate.

Responsibilities:

  • Audit Insuring package and upload to confirm the insuring information is correct
  • Audit MIC and LGC to confirm accuracy
  • Upload and update information in (SunSoft)
  • Upload VA audit packages to VA system WebLGY
  • Upload FHA Binder packages to HUD system FHA

Qualifications:

  • 1 or more years' experience working in the insuring department
  • Working knowledge of conventional and government residential mortgage loans, and investor guidelines
  • Must have excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Microsoft or google docs
  • Type at least 30 wpm
  • Dependable and Punctual
