Position: Operations Lead (Part Time - Hourly)
Reports to: Operations manager

Job Summary:
The Operations Lead is responsible for the proper execution of project tasks defined by the Operations Manager. This position will have a hands-on, in-the-field role in various tasks related to asset tracking, asset repairs, quality control, facility and asset maintenance, event set-up and breakdown, and other related projects. The Operations Lead will work with a team of part-time Operations Crew Members scheduled to execute tasks in a timely manner. During events, the Operations Lead will support various operations including set-up, event onsite support across departments, event breakdown, and other incoming operational requests.
Primary Job Duties:
  • Oversees and executes specific tasks with the support of Operations Crew Members to ensure task completion according to guidelines established by the Operations Manager.

  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks at one time.

  • Ability to overcome obstacles with creative solutions.

  • Ability to provide direct and clear instructions to part-time team members.

  • Performs quality control on project tasks maintaining the standards established by the Operations Manager.

  • Supports Operations Teams during event hours of operation to complete any incoming requests.

  • Creates an inviting, welcoming, and positive atmosphere when interfacing with patrons.

  • Other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Requirements: Qualifications/Requirements:
  • At least 2 years of experience managing teams required.

  • At least 2 years of event operations experience required.

  • Must have a driver's license.

  • Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time.

  • Must be able to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.

  • Must be able to communicate effectively, provide clear direction and instructions to team members, and follow project parameters established by the Operations Manager.

  • Must be comfortable operating heavy equipment.

  • Must be able to adapt to fast-paced environments.

  • Must be able to maintain a positive attitude under time constraints.

  • Must possess a good work ethic and attention to detail.

  • Must be able to work in a team environment.

  • Must comply with proper safety policies and procedures established by Insignia Event Services, LLC.
  • Available to work on event days including weekends & holidays.
