San Francisco, CA | Fullโ€‘Time, Temporary

IVI RMA North America, a leader in reproductive medicine, is seeking a Temporary Fertility Medical Assistant to support our growing San Francisco practice. This is an excellent opportunity to gain handsโ€‘on experience in a highly specialized clinical environment while making a meaningful impact on patients during an important and emotional chapter of their lives.

In this role, youโ€™ll work alongside physicians, nurses, and clinical staff to deliver compassionate, highโ€‘quality fertility care. Weโ€™re looking for someone who is detailโ€‘oriented, patientโ€‘focused, and comfortable working in a fastโ€‘paced medical setting where teamwork and empathy are essential.

Schedule:
Fullโ€‘time, Mondayโ€“Friday, 6:30 AMโ€“3:00 PM, with rotating weekends and holidays.


What Youโ€™ll Do
  • Support physicians during clinical exams and procedures by preparing rooms, assisting as needed, and following established protocols
  • Perform phlebotomy and specimen collection, ensuring proper processing for both inโ€‘house and outside laboratories
  • Accurately document ultrasound measurements, provider notes, and stimulation templates while acting as a chaperone during ultrasounds
  • Prepare, clean, and maintain exam rooms, procedure areas, and medical equipment according to infectionโ€‘control standards
  • Stock and monitor clinical supplies to ensure exam rooms are always ready for patient care
  • Manage laboratory reports through Lanfax, including entering results and communicating findings to the provider team
  • Provide patients with clear information, reassurance, and comfort before, during, and after procedures
  • Contribute to a positive patient experience by delivering compassionate, respectful, and professional care at every interaction

What You Bring
  • At least 6 months of experience as a Medical Assistant in a physician practice
  • Prior experience in womenโ€™s health or a specialty practice is preferred
  • Completion of a Certified Medical Assistant program is strongly preferred
  • CPTโ€‘1 Phlebotomy certification is required
  • Comfort working early mornings, weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings
  • Experience using EMR systems (preferred) and Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook and Excel
