Job description
The Transaction Coordinator role involves collaborating within our team to manage all compliance and administrative aspects of the listings, transaction, and commission process. Daily Agent interaction is a key part of this crucial operational role.
The support our Transaction Coordinators provide allows our Agents to focus on building client relationships and developing their businesses. Our team provides comprehensive support and acts as the central point of contact for all relevant stakeholders, ensuring a smooth closing process. From document preparation and deadline tracking, regular updates for all parties to a transaction and submitting deals for payout, your goal is to facilitate the process for Agents and clients at every stage. You will also collaborate closely with local lenders, attorneys, and title companies, utilizing your extensive experience and strong industry contacts for each contract you process.
Please note: This role requires you to work in-office twice per month, with the flexibility to work from any Compass office in Florida.
At Compass You Will:
- Handle document tracking for a large volume of real estate transactions from listing to close, and/or contract to close, ensuring compliance with brokerage and legal requirements
- Ensure real estate contracts are processed properly and in a timely matter, with a focus on the details
- Manage and track contract deadlines to ensure all timelines are met
- Navigate company systems to validate accuracy of compliance and commission records
- Provide support to Agents in response to inquiries regarding commission payouts, deductions, and commission calculations
- Collaborate with sales managers and other support teams to offer outstanding support to the agents
What We Are Looking For:
- 2+ years of experience in a real estate transaction-processings function, coordination, accounting, or payroll function preferred
- Familiarity with standard real estate forms used in Florida
- Strong written, quantitative, verbal, and presentation skills
- Ability to digest detailed contracts and make informed decisions based on content
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of Agent's contract data
- Work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Customer service-oriented personality
- Impeccable attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- B.A. or B.S. degree preferred
