Job description

Purpose of Position
The International Trip Planner is responsible for reviewing, planning, and executing all logistical arrangements for NetJets Aviation (NJA) international flights. This includes assessing trip feasibility, communicating requirements to internal teams, preparing cost estimates for Owners, and coordinating services such as ground handling, permits, fuel, and airport logistics. The role ensures compliance with U.S. and international regulations by working closely with departments including Scheduling, Security, Legal, and Owner Services. Trip Planners proactively identify and resolve potential issues across all booking stages and collaborate with NetJets Europe and Executive Jet Management to ensure seamless flight transitions. They also serve as the primary point of contact for crew and flight center teams on all international flights.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Review international flights to provide solutions and alternative plans to mitigate potential issues.
- Plan, request, and monitor all international handling and logistic set ups including but not limited to U.S. and foreign customs, ground handling, fuel, slots, ppr, airway slots, landing permits, overflight permits, transportation, parking, hotels, service payments, visa services, passport services, catering assistance, and crew documentation.
- Provide trip cost estimates for international bookings. Company-wide point of contact for owner products, ferry waiver program, and international feasibility.
- Monitors daily international flight activities, aircraft departures, and estimated arrival times to ensure timely and accurate updates are provided to Customs and international handlers to facilitate the efficient processing of NetJets flights.
- Comply with all regulatory agencies that cover over 150 countries that include U.S. Customs and Border Protection, FAA, CDC, EPA, Foreign Civil Authorities, and International governing bodies. Properly documents all situations or deviations that affect the quality of flight activity in order to provide accurate information to support decision-making.
- Other duties as assigned.
