Job description

Essential Job Functions:

  • Assist Captain / Senior Captain with ferry operations as directed.
  • Greet passengers and collect payment. Verify reservations.
  • Sweep and wash decks along with other areas of the boat and dock.
  • Perform routine cleaning and painting about the vessel. Pickup and dispose of trash on vessel and loading/unloading areas.
  • Adhere to safety standards and address potential safety hazards.
  • Observe passengers to ensure safe behaviors; ensure safe loading and departure from ferry.
  • Participate in training sessions and drills. Must have ability to meet tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the Senior Captain / Captain during times of emergency or otherwise.
  • Responsible for immediately informing on-site IGC Agent on duty, Security and Supervisor on Duty of any Internal Control or State Regulation violations related to gaming activity of which you commit, witness or become aware; must report pursuant to company Self-Reporting Policy.

Other Job Functions: 

  • Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
  • Note: this position will not perform or assist with any gaming function or access the casino vessel.

Job Qualifications:

  • Experience Required: General maintenance skills.
  • Education Required: High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Skills, Knowledge and/or Abilities Required: Ability to follow orders; ability to communicate effectively with others and understand/comply with departmental, company, and government agency regulations.
