As the Sales Representative, Reproductive Medicine and Maternal Health you will be responsible for all sales activities in an assigned geographical area. Achieve maximum sales volume through promotion of Ferring Products to physicians, advanced practice providers, pharmacists, clinic staff.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for performance in assigned territory
  • Promote and sell Ferring products to attain or exceed established sales quotas.
  • Contact, on a regular basis, present and prospective customers including physicians, clinics, pharmacies, resident, and fellowship programs.
  • Establish and maintain interactive relationship with trade team and home office staff.
  • Establish and maintain an effective relationship with physicians, nurses, ancillary personnel, pharmacists, laboratory personnel, administrators, to provide information and sell Ferring products.
  • Submit complete timely reports (sales, expenses, market information, competitive activity, WAR reports, call reports, promotional ideas and technical inquiries to either District Manager or appropriate home office personnel.
  • Maintain sales by providing customer service as outlined in field sales plan.
  • Control expenses within a defined budget; maintain and protect assigned company property.
  • Responsible for coordination and completion of demand generation programs, including Patient Education, Referral Dinner Programs, etc.
  • Maintain communication with other representatives, the region, and corporate headquarters with respect to sales issues, sales and marketing ideas, and competitive information.
  • Represent Ferring at Professional Industry Meetings and Seminars.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree is required.
  • Specialty Pharmaceutical Experience a plus.
  • Previous medical experience in Nursing/IVF.
  • Successful Sales Experience and Sales Ability is a priority.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop long-term relationships and manage long sales cycles.
  • Ability to grasp scientific data and use the data to sell clinically.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence others.
  • Complex Market Understanding.
  • Experience in customer generation and development.
  • Excellent communication and written skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Travel required to perform sales duties.

Physical Requirements:

  • Sitting approximately 3 - 4 hours at a time while driving or as a passenger and operating an automobile up to 60% of the time depending upon the geography of the territory.
  • Walking up to 15% of the time depending upon the geography of the territory.

Our Compensation and Benefits

At Ferring, base salary is one part of our competitive total compensation and benefits package and is determined using a salary range. The base salary range for this role is $64,969 to $120,656, which is the reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount paid may differ based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, education and primary work location. Additional compensation for this role will be provided based on competitive annual incentive compensation targets in the form of sales commissions - payouts are based on individual and geography/company performance.

Benefits for this role include comprehensive healthcare (medical, dental, and vision) with a premium differential, inverse to base salary, to be paid by employees, a 401k plan and company match, short and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, wellness benefits, reimbursement for certain tuition expenses, sick time of 1 hour per 30 hours worked, vacation time for full time employees to accrue up to 120 hours in the first four (4) years of employment, and 160 hours in the fifth (5th) year of employment as well as15paid holidays per year.We are proud to offer paid parental leave subject to a minimum period of employment at Ferring.
