Job description

Our Opening and Your Responsibilities
As a Field Sales Representative for Mettler-Toledo Process Analytics, you will play a crucial role in delivering technical expertise and value-driven solutions to customers within the hygienic market segment, including Pharma, Biotech, Food & Beverage, and Semiconductor. Your main objective will be to exceed regional sales targets by leveraging your deep product knowledge, application expertise, and relationship-building skills. This role requires up to 50% overnight travel within the Texas territory. Additional Responsibilities:
  • Establishing yourself as a trusted advisor by understanding customer pain points and differentiating PRO solutions.
  • Proactively penetrating accounts and generating business at new sites.
  • Building and maintaining long-term customer relationships with the highest level of integrity.
  • Developing and executing a strategic territory plan encompassing lead generation, cold calling, product demos, technical seminars, application feasibility tests, and customer support coordination.
  • Achieving technical and application proficiency with all Mettler Toledo Process Analytics products and maintaining competitive and market knowledge.
  • Using application knowledge to identify new business opportunities.
  • Maintaining CRM data daily, completing weekly reports, and providing accurate sales forecasts.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

What You Need to Succeed
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or science field.
  • 5+ years of sales experience within the process instrumentation or process engineering spaces.
  • CRM experience, preferably SAP.
  • Ideal location in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% overnight throughout the entire state of Texas.
