What You'll Be Doing...
As a Purchasing Coordinator, you will be responsible for organizing and executing the procurement of materials and services to ensure a continuous supply that meets quality, cost, and delivery requirements. Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Executing the MRP process to maintain supply continuity.
  • Preparing and administering purchase orders.
  • Processing requisitions and placing timely purchase orders for MRO materials.
  • Communicating purchase order revisions to requisitioners and approvers.
  • Following up on confirmations and expediting requests to meet internal customer needs.
  • Maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Ensuring accuracy in requisitions, purchase orders, and related documentation.
  • Identifying and pursuing cost-saving opportunities in materials, freight, and services.
  • Supporting the Procurement Manager and Supply Chain Buyer/Planners as needed.
  • Ensuring compliance with ISO 9001:2000 standards and implementing changes where appropriate.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.
  • Promoting and upholding Fenner Precision Polymers' Values and Behaviors always.

What We're Looking For...
We're seeking a detail-oriented and proactive individual who brings:
  • A High School diploma or GED (required).
  • 2-5 years of experience in a business environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • A solid understanding of production and inventory flow.
