Female Personal Assistant / Special Needs Caregiver – $19 to $20/hr (3 Openings)
ComForCare Home Care San Diego is an authorized vendor of the San Diego Regional Center (SDRC). We are urgently hiring compassionate Female Caregivers & Personal Assistants (client & family preferences due to intimate personal care needs) for three separate client positions across Central San Diego.
Applicants may apply for an individual position or combine shifts up to 40 hours per week.
???? Current Shift Openings:
  • Position 1: Morning Life-Skills Coach (Mira Mesa)

    • Schedule: Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM or 8:00 AM starts (4–5 hours/day)
    • Client & Care Needs: Young female adult with special needs (mild autism). Focus is on morning coaching and prompting for daily shower/hygiene routines, menstrual care management, bed-linen laundry, and schedule tracking.
  • Position 2: Post-Rehab Caregiver (San Diego / 92116)

    • Schedule: 7 Days a Week | 5–6 hours/day (Flexible day shifts available — great for part-time coverage)
    • Client & Care Needs: Adult female with special needs recovering from a hip fracture. Hands-on assistance needed for walker mobility, transfers, lower-body dressing, showering, meal prep, and light housekeeping.
  • Position 3: Afternoon Personal Assistant (Central San Diego)

    • Schedule: Monday – Friday | 1:00 PM – 6:00 PM (25 hrs/week) 
    • Client & Care Needs: Adult female with special needs (severe autism). Responsibilities include adult day program pickup, transportation home, meal prep, personal hygiene assistance, and structured 1:1 companionship. 
Pay & Benefits
  • Pay Rate: $19.00 – $20.00 / hour (Based on experience & assignment)
  • Flexibility: Work 1, 2, or a combination of positions (Up to 40 hours/week)
  • Support: Supportive 24/7 office team & ongoing training
Requirements
  • Active Registered Home Care Aide (HCA) with CDSS / Guardian (or willingness to register)
  • Experience with Special Needs, Autism, Developmental Disabilities, or Mobility Support
  • Valid CA Driver’s License, reliable vehicle, and active auto insurance 
  • Ability to pass Live Scan background check and TB test
