Responsibilities

As part of efforts to expand its scholarly and clinical activities, the Department of Pediatrics at the University of South Alabama College of Medicine is currently seeking candidates for a faculty position in Pediatric Endocrinology and Metabolism.

Duties include patient care at the USA Children’s Specialty Clinic, the primary referral center for the region, and teaching medical students and residents. Candidates should have completed fellowship training in Pediatric Endocrinology. The successful candidate will interact with an interdisciplinary team of nurses, dieticians, and other professionals dealing with diabetes and a broad range of endocrine disorders. Academic rank is open to the Assistant Professor level and will be commensurate with training, experience, and academic productivity. We offer competitive compensation and benefits.
