Manufacturing Specialist (All Shifts)
Come join our Manufacturing team and have your hands on components for lifesaving devices! Our team works directly with lifesaving medical device components. Candidates who have fit well in this role have worked with automated equipment, and have experience with manual soldering, circuit board assembly, quality control inspection and Lean Manufacturing. Our Manufacturing Specialists perform a variety of complex and intricate assembly operations requiring knowledge of several related processes involving operations and equipment. A strong attention to detail will serve you well in this role.
SHIFT DETAILS:
1st Shift: 6:30am - 3:00pm (5x8)
2nd Shift: 2:30pm - 11:00pm (5x8)
3rd Shift: 10:00pm - 8:30am (4x10, Sun-Wed or Wed-Sat)
BENEFITS:
  • Competitive hourly wages with shift differentials (10% for swing shift, 15% for grave shift, and a stackable 5% for all weekend shifts).
  • Annual bonus target of 7% on top of hourly wages.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Perform complex assembly on engineering and prototype builds with limited documentation and limited supervision.
  • Operate both automated and manual assembly equipment efficiently.
  • Quickly and efficiently set up workstations and prepare multiple assembly lines.
  • Conduct first-level troubleshooting, equipment recoveries and repairs that are commensurate with applicant's level of expertise and training.
  • Perform routine maintenance and monitor tool and system performance.
  • Conduct inspection work under a microscope.
  • Follow production work instructions, read schedules, bills of materials, electrical schematics, blueprints and assembly diagrams.
  • Use factory software to track and prioritize report work in process.
  • Provide written and verbal summaries of process, design, and component issues encountered during assembly.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
  • High school Diploma or GED AND 1+ years of relevant experience a manufacturing environment.
  • Must have high attention to detail.
  • Expertise in complex assembly or production skills and advanced knowledge of the accepted practices, operating methods, policies and procedures within the assembly production function.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications such as MS Windows.

ADDITIONAL PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:
  • Associate's degree or higher.
  • Soldering skills (certificate desirable).
  • Previous IPC-A-610 certification.
  • Experience in electronics manufacturing.
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings and documentation.
  • Experience with SAP or equivalent.
  • Microscope inspection experience.
