Job description

IEM is looking for aFull Time- Project Coordinatorto join our team. TheProject Coordinatorserves as a key liaison between Key Staff and the Project Team, ensuring smooth communication and efficient coordination of daily operations. This role manages schedules, correspondence, and documentation, and supports project coordination activities related to FEMA Match Programs as requested by PRDOH. Responsibilities include maintaining organized physical files, preparing reports and presentations, and assisting with record-keeping and other administrative tasks essential to program implementation.

Primary Location:

  • Live within a commutable distance to Guaynabo, PR.
  • Work in an Office Environment with a team.

Travel Requirements:

  • This position may require travel to complete work assignments or attend meetings.
  • Daily travel and other expenses are reimbursable in accordance with Federal Travel Regulations or DoD Regulations.

Essential Functions:

  • Act as a point of contact between the Key Staff and the Project Team.
  • Receive or make calls, take or send messages, and manage correspondence to or from the Key Staff and Project Team.
  • Maintain daily, weekly and monthly schedules for the Key Staff and Project Team.
  • Support in all project coordination activities as requested by PRDOH for approved projects under the FEMA Match Programs. + Maintain a proper physical file system, as required.
  • Produce reports, presentations and briefs for the Key Staff and Project Team.
  • Assist the Key Staff and Project Team in record-keeping all data and documentation generated for the Program implementation.
  • Assist in any other administrative task, as assigned by the Key Staff or Project Team.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Experience:Two (2) years of project management experience
  • Degree:Bachelor's degree or higher education from an accredited institution.
  • Bilingual:Fluent verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish.
  • Comprehensive knowledge in Microsoft Office software.
  • Familiarity with data management systems from an end-user perspective.
  • excellent writing and presentation skills
  • Must be working locally within Puerto Rico.
