Role and Responsibilities
  • Conduct stress analyses on mechanical systems such as hydraulically driven doors and associated locking mechanisms.
  • Perform static analysis, including section checks, lug checks, joint strength and column stability.
  • Apply durability analysis and internal load development of mechanisms using free‑body and FEM methods.
Basic QualificationsStructural Engineer (Level 2)
  • Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) and at least 2 years of relevant experience, or a Master’s Degree in STEM with no years of experience.
  • Experience in structural analysis methods and documentation, including classical hand calculation and large finite element model manipulation.
  • Experience in structural analysis of mechanical systems.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre‑requisite) and Special Program Access within a reasonable period.
Principal Structural Engineer (Level 3)
  • Bachelor’s in STEM or 5 years of relevant experience, or a Master’s Degree with 3 years experience, or a PhD with no experience.
  • Proficiency in structural analysis methods and documentation, including classical hand calculation and large FEM model manipulation.
  • Proficiency in structural analysis of mechanical systems.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre‑requisite) and Program Special Access within a reasonable period.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with mechanism structural analysis.
  • Proficiency with Unigraphics NX, CATIA V5 and/or similar CAD packages.
  • Proficiency with PATRAN, FEMAP, NASTRAN, StressCheck, Abaqus CAE and/or similar analysis packages.
  • Experience working Special Access Programs.
  • Top Secret U.S. Government Security Clearance.
Salary & Benefits

Primary level salary range: $79,300.00 – $118,900.00. Secondary level salary range: $98,400.00 – $147,600.00. Base salary is determined by scope, responsibilities, candidate experience, education, skills, and current market conditions. Employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, discretionary bonus, and annual bonuses. Long‑term incentives may be available for VP or Director positions. Benefits include health insurance, life and disability insurance, savings plan, company‑paid holidays, and paid time off for vacation and personal business.
