CVOR/Vascular Surg Tech

Client offer- locals allowed for this position at same rate. Start date: 7/27. Shift: 4x10s, 06:30-17:00. Types of cases req: vascular surgery cases; abdominal aortic aneurysm repair, carotid endarterectomy, endovascular aneurysm repair, endovascular aortic repair (evar), femoral popliteal bypass graft, transcatheter aortic valve replacement (tavr), thoracic endovascular aortic repair (tevar). Cvor cases types of cases preferred: atherectomy, vein stripping. Number of or's: 3. Years of experience req: 1. First-timers accepted: yes. Weekend req: yes. National certs req: n/a. Bls req: yes. Is on-call req? yes, 1-2 days a week on call and 1 weekend a month on call. Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? no. Floating req to sister facilities: no. Open to accommodating block schedule? to be discussed in interview if applicable. Locals accepted: yes. Pending state license accepted: no. Rto restrictions: no rto in contract. When applicable, rto may be discussed in interview. If aya offer, no interview. If candidate requires an interview and they are a clinical pass they will be sent as a screen. If another pass comes along that does not require an interview the offer will be given to the first pass that does not require an interview. Guaranteed hours: apply after the first call off per pay period. Special requirements: inpatient, outpatient, community hospital work setting experience required; scrub skills required; cerner emr preferred; covid-19 vaccination required (exemptions accepted if medical or religious). Unit details: our vascular services are within the cvor. This position is for a vascular surgical technologist. Ability to perform endovascular cases, aortagrams, venogram, arteriograms with intervention as well as evar, tcar, and tvar. Ability to scrub open vascular cases such as aaa, fem pops, cutdowns, groin explorations, embolectomies. Type of facility: short term acute care level ii trauma, level i peds trauma. Total staffed beds: 615. Scrub color: provided. Charting: cerner. Parking cost: included in fdi 5100.21600.tech.
