  • We are hiring dedicated, compassionate Nurse Aides, CNAs, and Caregivers to provide resident-focused, quality care for elder Franciscan sisters in a convent home facility in Lodi, NJ (near Felician University and Immaculate Conception High School).
  • Casual/per diem CNA/Nurse Aide positions, picking up on evening (2:00 pm to 10:30 pm) and night shifts (10:00pm - 6:30am)

Responsibilities:
  • Our Nurse Aide / CNA / Caregiver provides direct care to elder Franciscan sisters including assistance with personal hygiene, dressing, dining, transporting, and restorative care. Our Nurse aides are responsible for documenting care for our sisters as required and communicating with residents, family members, management, and staff to ensure quality care. This position also assists and collaborates with the nursing staff with duties related to the ongoing needs of the residents according to established standards.
  • Our employees in all departments work together to strive to support the religious life of sisters by contributing to providing a warm and caring convent environment. We believe care partners in all departments should be able to engage in quality interpersonal experiences with sisters and engage in meaningful interactions during the course of every day. We recognize that teamwork and maintaining partnerships among all departments are critical to achieving sister satisfaction and attaining a thriving living and working environment.

Education and Experience:
  • High school graduate or equivalent required.
  • Current or lapsed Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certification is a PLUS but not required.
  • Long-term resident care or home care experience is preferred but not required.
