Job description

Felician University is currently seeking an experienced, dedicated and academically qualified nursing specialist to teach in the Hybrid Program of the School of Nursing. The successful candidate will have experience teaching in both a traditional and online venues and must be willing to successfully complete Felician online certification. S/he must have an educational background in the fundamentals of the discipline, as well as a wealth of real-world experience to bring to class discussions and case analyses.

Required Education:

Masters of Science in Nursing required, doctoral degree preferred. Faculty teaching in the graduate program must have an earned doctoral degree or currently enrolled in doctoral program

Qualifications:
  • Licensure in New Jersey as a Registered Nurse. Graduate Faculty must have current national certification and NJ Board of Nursing licensure as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
  • 2+ years’ practical experience in the area of specialization.
  • Proven knowledge and expertise in clinical nursing education.
  • Previous teaching experience, preferably in an institution of higher education.
  • Superior written and verbal communications skills.
  • Ability to engage with students of diversebackgrounds and experiences.
  • Willingness and ability to support and promote the Felician Franciscan mission and values of the University.
