Job description

Our client is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Associate to join their warehouse team. This hands-on role is responsible for accurately picking, packing, shipping, and receiving products while maintaining an organized and efficient warehouse environment. The ideal candidate is reliable, organized, and comfortable working with inventory systems, shipping software, and warehouse equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment
  • Verify orders and shipping information for accuracy before shipment
  • Use handheld barcode scanners to validate inventory and receive incoming products
  • Process shipments through UPS, FedEx, USPS, and customer shipping portals
  • Print picking tickets and manage inventory through the company's ERP system
  • Receive and inspect incoming shipments against purchase orders
  • Put away inventory in designated warehouse locations
  • Pre-pull and stage future customer orders
  • Label, bag, and prepare products for shipment as needed
  • Restock picking locations from overstock inventory
  • Assist with inventory counts, cycle counts, and year-end physical inventory
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
  • Operate warehouse equipment, including an order picker/cherry picker when needed
  • Assist with unloading container shipments on occasion

Qualifications

  • Previous shipping and receiving experience required

Pay: $19.00/Hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM-4:00 PM (flexibility to work 8:00 AM-4:30 PM if needed)
