Job description

Company Description

This position is for a Revenue Analyst I. This role will be responsible for the monthly duties and responsibilities associated with Month-end close, Billing and Revenue Recognition of clients within one of the business segments of Epsilon. You will be working with various teams across the organization to ensure compliance is maintained with established policies and procedures. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and organizational skills are required.

Responsibilities
  • Process transactional billing orders. 
  • Answer inquiries from clients as well as internal groups.
  • Billing
  • Maintaining SOX controls
  • Reconciliations, journal entries and reporting
  • Process invoices and manage delivery to client (email, overnight, etc)
  • Process month-end reports and monthly data feeds
  • Special projects as needed
  • Determining Revenue Recognition and related deferrals
Qualifications
  • At least 2-3 years of business experience
  • Revenue recognition experience
  • Financial analysis experience
  • Analytical and problem solving skills
  • Must be detailed-oriented and possess good organizational skills
  • SAP experience a plus
  • Strong MS Excel skills
  • Strong customer service skills

The core requirements for this position are:

  • BA/BS or higher in Accounting or Finance
  • Strong communication and analytical skills.

The candidate must be:

  • SAP billing experience is a plus
  • Flexible as responsibilities may shift over time.
  • Able to display initiative & take ownership of problems.
  • Naturally inquisitive, we need problem finders and solvers.
  • Thorough & detail oriented.
  • Able to work with a sense of urgency without hands on supervision.
  • A "people person" willing to engage others outside of the accounting department.
  • Proactive & able to anticipate needs & issues before they arise.
  • Willing to pick up the phone to fix issues (rather than using email). Organized & able to follow thru without prompting.

 Compensation Range: USD $45,600.00 - USD $84,600.00/Annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
