Global Revenue Manager, Remote (United States)

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and highly analytical Global Revenue Manager to lead revenue accounting and financial reporting across a complex, multi-entity global organization. This role will oversee a diverse revenue portfolio spanning SaaS subscriptions, hardware, professional services, and other recurring and one-time revenue streams across multiple business verticals and geographies.

The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in ASC 606 and IFRS 15, strong technical and operational accounting capabilities, and hands‑on experience managing revenue processes within a global, high-growth environment. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring revenue is recognized accurately, timely, and in compliance with applicable accounting standards while continuously improving processes, controls, systems, and scalability.

This is a high-visibility individual contributor role requiring strong cross-functional partnership with Sales, FP&A, Operations, and other key stakeholders.

The Global Revenue Manager will serve as a subject matter expert on complex revenue arrangements, provide insight into revenue performance, and help strengthen the processes and systems that support the company’s continued growth. The rolereports directly to the VP of Global Accounting, with a dotted-line relationship to the CFO.

Key Responsibilities Revenue Accounting & Compliance
  • Own global revenue recognition processes in accordance with ASC 606 and applicable international accounting standards (IFRS 15 where applicable).
  • Analyze and document accounting treatment for:
    • SaaS and subscription arrangements
    • Hardware and product sales
    • Professional services and implementation revenue
    • Multi‑element and bundled arrangements
    • Channel partner and reseller agreements
    • Usage‑based, milestone, and variable consideration models
  • Review customer contracts to determine appropriate revenue recognition treatment
  • Prepare and maintain technical accounting memos and revenue policy documentation
  • Ensure consistent application of accounting policies across multiple legal entities and business units
Close & Reporting
  • Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual global revenue close activities
  • Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, deferred revenue, roll forwards, and related schedules
  • Support consolidated financial reporting and revenue disclosures
  • Partner with colleagues to support audits, and statutory reporting requirements
  • Coordinate with regional accounting teams to ensure timely and accurate reporting across global operations
Systems, Processes & Controls
  • Maintain and improve revenue accounting processes, internal controls, and automation initiatives
  • Optimization of revenue systems in NetSuite
  • Identify process improvement opportunities to increase scalability and reduce manual effort
  • Ensure seamless billing from Salesforce to NetSuite
  • Analyze gross margin by product cost of sale evaluation
Cross‑Functional Partnership
  • Collaborate with:
    • Sales Operations on deal structuring, contract language and non‑standard terms
    • FP&A on forecasting and revenue analytics
    • Tax on intercompany and global entity considerations
    • External auditors during quarterly and annual audits
  • Provide guidance to business stakeholders regarding revenue implications of commercial arrangements
Technical & Strategic Support
  • Monitor emerging accounting guidance and assess impacts to the business.
  • Assist with acquisitions, integrations, and new market expansion initiatives.
  • Support special projects related to revenue operations, compliance, and organizational growth.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • CPA or equivalent certification strongly preferred
  • 7+ years of progressive accounting experience with significant focus on revenue accounting.
  • Strong expertise in ASC 606
  • Strong NetSuite experience, including Advanced Revenue Management (ARM) and Salesforce-to-NetSuite integrations supporting customer invoicing, billing, and revenue recognition
  • Experience managing revenue accounting across a global, multi-entity organization with diverse revenue streams, multiple currencies, and foreign exchange considerations
  • Experience supporting SaaS/subscription-based business models alongside non-recurring revenue streamssuch as hardware and professional services.
  • Hands‑on experience with NetSuite Advanced Revenue Management (ARM), including revenue arrangements, revenue recognition, and related reporting
  • Strong understanding of:
    • Deferred revenue
    • Gross Margin
    • ARM
    • SSP analysis
    • Contract modifications
    • Variable consideration
    • Multi‑performance obligation arrangements
  • Experience with ERP and revenue automation systems
  • Advanced Excel and financial analysis skills
