Job description

One Federal Solution is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support a Government Client by leading and overseeing program management activities for a large-scale federal contract. The selected candidate will be responsible for planning, directing, coordinating, and monitoring project execution while ensuring contractual requirements, quality standards, and program objectives are achieved.

This position serves as the primary point of contact for project execution, working closely with Government stakeholders, technical teams, and senior leadership to manage schedules, deliverables, risk mitigation, business process improvements, and overall contract performance.

Project Manager Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive project management plans.
  • Create and maintain integrated master schedules for all assigned project activities.
  • Plan, organize, direct, and control project activities to ensure contractual obligations and performance objectives are met.
  • Lead project coordination efforts among Government stakeholders, internal teams, and external partners.
  • Monitor project progress, milestones, deliverables, risks, and performance metrics.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, procedures, templates, and organizational process assets.
  • Provide recommendations for business process improvements and operational efficiencies aligned with Government and industry best practices.
  • Prepare executive-level reports, briefings, white papers, memoranda, and presentations.
  • Analyze policies, regulations, and business processes to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Lead meetings, facilitate discussions, and provide recommendations to senior leadership regarding complex project issues.
  • Develop and submit monthly Project Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&M) and project status reports.
  • Manage project resources to ensure successful execution of all assigned work.
  • Ensure quality standards are maintained across all project deliverables.
  • Support the development and revision of policies, procedures, training materials, and standard operating procedures.
  • Coordinate multiple complex projects simultaneously while maintaining schedule and budget objectives.
  • Perform additional project management duties as assigned.
Project Manager Required Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Management, Public Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in project or program management or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 10 years of management experience.
  • Minimum 8 years supporting analytical or program management activities.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is required.
  • Strong experience leading complex federal projects or programs.
  • Excellent organizational, leadership, and decision-making skills.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to interpret policies, regulations, and technical guidance.
  • Experience developing reports, executive briefings, presentations, and policy documentation.
  • Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Project.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
