The Sr. Program Manager provides strategic planning and program design with a youth-focused approach to meet the needs of youth experiencing or at risk of experiencing homelessness.  This position encompasses critical budgeting responsibilities, grant writing, management of complex federal and state funding, personnel management, and tracking of expenses and revenues. 

The incoming manager will oversee three core programs that support youth experiencing or at risk of homelessness. Rezek House is a two-year, onsite transitional living program for youth ages 16–21, offering 10 efficiency units for single youth and two one-bedroom units for parenting youth. The Transitional Housing Project provides housing assistance, rental subsidies, and supportive services to youth ages 18–24 living in market-rate apartments throughout the community. Additionally, the Resource Hub serves as a welcoming and safe space where youth can access information, tools, and resources to support their personal growth and stability. 

Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related social service field and three years of experience working with youth; Master’s degree in youth development, human services or a related area preferred.
  • An additional two years of experience managing youth programming preferred.
  • Experience in working with evaluators and tracking outcomes is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with community partners. 
  • A driver's license and current insurance is required.
  • Ability to work very well independently, with excellent skills in teamwork and collaboration.
  • Ability to be flexible and manage time.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, positively and professionally with participants, providers, family members, and others.
  • Ability to work with individuals from very diverse backgrounds.
  • Ability to empathize, problem solve, and accept people unconditionally, with an openness to new ideas.
  • Ability to interpret and analyze policies and guidelines.
  • Ability to understand and apply knowledge of counseling theory and techniques, homelessness, social support systems, advocacy, youth stages of development and case management in terms of providing services to individuals or families in crisis.
  • Ability to maintain awareness of personal safety during home visits.
