Job description

First impressions matter-and our Grounds team helps create a safe, attractive, and welcoming environment for every patient, visitor, and employee who comes to our hospitals. If you enjoy working outdoors, take pride in your work, and have experience in landscaping or grounds maintenance, we'd love to have you join our team.
As a Grounds Maintenance Technician, you'll help maintain the appearance and safety of our hospital campuses year-round. From caring for landscaped areas and maintaining parking lots to snow removal and equipment operation, your work plays an important role in supporting exceptional patient care.
What You'll Do
  • Maintain hospital grounds, parking lots, sidewalks, driveways, and landscaped areas.
  • Plant, prune, trim, fertilize, and care for trees, shrubs, flowers, and other landscaping.
  • Operate lawn mowers, tractors, sweepers, and other grounds maintenance equipment.
  • Remove snow and ice and apply ice melt to keep walkways and parking areas safe.
  • Inspect, troubleshoot, and perform minor repairs on grounds equipment.
  • Complete preventive maintenance and work orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Help ensure hospital properties remain safe, clean, and inviting throughout every season.
What You'll Bring
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Two years of nursery, landscaping, or commercial grounds maintenance experience preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and the ability to safely operate grounds maintenance equipment.
