This requisition is for an onsite Research Associate III position with a pay rate of ***/hr and a maximum client bill rate of ***
Key Criteria
Bachelors in Science with 4-6 years post-college experience; Diverse experience is a plus
Experience with wet lab and biological techniques
Previous experience in a regulated environment, product development, and/or manufacturing operations is ideal
Department Summary
Responsible for facilitating the transition of products from Development to Manufacturing as a member of
the Assay Transfer team.
Initiates, directs and executes process characterizations, scientific research, development and manufacturing process strategies to support new and existing reagent products.
Investigates the feasibility of applying a wide variety of scientific principles and concepts to potential inventions, products and problems to ensure manufacturability and improve processes applying aspects of Design for Six Sigma and Design for Quality and Manufacturability (DQM).
Plans and executes laboratory research as it pertains to process characterizations, scale up and improving process capability.
Maintains broad knowledge of state-of-the art principles and theories.
Prepares manufacturing documents and completes transfer activities for new products.
Uses professional concepts to contribute to the development of product or process principles and to achieve
objectives in creative and effective ways.
The Opportunity
Leads the design, execution, and troubleshooting of complex laboratory protocols and bench experiments with minimal supervision.
Utilizes deep analytical judgment as a recognized subject matter expert to solve complex technical problems, optimize workflows, and identify patent or publication opportunities.
Maintains meticulous records, analyzes quantitative data, and generates comprehensive technical reports while championing "Quality First Time" standards.
Partners actively across organizational boundaries, participates in cross-functional technical teams, and communicates findings clearly to stakeholders.
Contributes creatively to project planning, helps implement laboratory improvements, and trains other team members in areas of expertise.
