Position Summary:
The Environmental and Compliance Manager will Provide technical and regulatory assistance to operations and corporate personnel on environmental issues, project support, and compliance with applicable regulatory and permit requirements.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Manages complex environmental regulatory, permitting and compliance projects, at both a facility-specific level and corporate level.
  • Participates in Corporate environmental audits as needed.
  • Work on a variety of projects, including, Stormwater & Landfill management
  • Ensure operations adhere to all environmental laws, regulations, and standards.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for environmental programs and policies across multiple locations.
  • Track and analyze environmental performance metrics, identify trends, and recommend improvements to minimize our environmental impact.
  • Non-compliance events: management of any notices of violation, follow-up reporting, communication to leadership; mitigate ongoing risk; manage follow up corrective action planning.
  • Support new acquisition integration as it relates to permit environmental compliance.
  • Lead and oversee environmental compliance initiatives, ensuring program success and client satisfaction.
  • sustainability & Climate Action: Support clients in achieving sustainability goals, climate action, and resiliency planning
  • Environmental Compliance Reports: Lead the preparation and completion of environmental compliance reports and plans (e.g., SPCC plans, Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans, discharge monitoring reports).

Job Qualifications
Travel:
  • Up to 50% required

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Environmental Management, Environmental Science, or a related field

Experience and Competencies:
  • Five (5+) or more years of environmental regulatory experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Experience with leading strategic projects, people and/or teams
