Job description

FCA seeks a Healthcare Practice Leader to join our growing team in the Orlando office. As the Healthcare Practice Leader, this candidate will be responsible for the successful oversight of healthcare projects, as well as winning new commissions, business development, client relationship management, financial management and staff development in conjunction with counterparts in other offices. The right candidate should be able to assume the total leadership role or Director level for FCA's Orlando office within the next 3 years.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Business Development: Identifies, qualifies, and develops new business opportunities while building current client relationships. Jointly contributes to the development and execution of the Healthcare group's Florida marketing plan/strategy. Leads selected marketing and business development opportunities and presentations Develops and nurtures positive client relationships Develops positive relationships with consultants, contractors, vendors, brokers, landlords, to increase stature in the market and community resulting in increased business opportunities Develops strategies and assists marketing group in development of marketing campaign, material, webinars and overall proposal prep and RFP responses Assists in award submissions.

Assists in press releases and other public relations activities Utilizes speaking and writing opportunities to position the firm as a thought leader in the healthcare marketplace. Leadership: Leads collaboratively, the growth and development of the Healthcare practice in the Orlando office and the state of Florida Collaborates with FCA's Leadership to develop and implement key initiatives, investments and strategies for growth and practice development Actively participates as a workplace thought leader in professional organizations, activities in the Orlando area that further the firm vision, mission, value, and relationships. Support the same participation by team.

Engages clients in new idea discovery, critical thinking, story-telling that respectfully challenges their understanding of appropriate design solutions. Communicates design intent in a clear compelling way; demonstrates the incorporation of client's requirements and goals within design solution. Assists in the preparation and delivery of design presentations to clients and leverages consultants to achieve design goals.

Possesses Market leader skills: Is a subject matter expert Leads new market pursuits Can close new business Leads teams as the Healthcare Practice Leader. Management: Serves as the leader or Director for multiple clients/projects Responsible for all local Orlando healthcare projects, and projects within the state of Florida Works closely with project managers with respect to budget, schedule, and work plan restraints. Leverages and encourages the best use of design technology for presentation and projection purposes.

Champions Revit and BIM technologies. Maintains billable and non-billable targets, and yearly revenue goals. Conducts project technical and design reviews Staff Development: Participates in local or state professional associations, maintains active memberships, attends, and speaks at conferences valued by clients.

Encourages staff exploration and innovation to drive healthcare design excellence. Participates in interviews and recruiting of professional staff. Prepares and delivers staff appraisals, performance development and compensation reviews.Registered architect with 15+ years healthcare industry experience

Proven ability to masterfully present, effectively sell and secure new business in the Orlando Healthcare market. Active participant within the Orlando architectural profession Demonstrated creativity, passion and interest in design and planning of healthcare environments. Ability to think strategically, implement changes, enforce policy, and resolve conflict.

Proven ability to prioritize oneself and the work of others. Thorough understanding of project work plans, schedules, staffing and budgets. Excellent people skills, and verbal and written communication skills.Registered architect with 15+ years healthcare industry experience
