Job Title: FCA Inspector
Location: Houston, TX
Employment Type: Part-Time
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented FCA (Fire Code Assessment) Inspector to join our team on a part-time basis in Houston, TX. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial fire and life safety inspections, along with hands-on knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems. This role is critical in ensuring compliance with applicable fire codes, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive fire and life safety inspections of commercial properties
  • Evaluate buildings for compliance with local, state, and national fire codes and standards
  • Identify deficiencies, hazards, and code violations, and provide clear recommendations for corrective actions
  • Prepare detailed, accurate, and timely inspection reports
  • Review and assess fire protection systems, including alarms, sprinklers, and suppression systems
  • Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and property stakeholders regarding inspection findings
  • Verify compliance of electrical and mechanical installations with applicable safety regulations
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of fire codes, industry standards, and best practices

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in commercial fire and life safety inspections
