Job description

Since 1967, Jet Aviation has been crafting flight in its smoothest form. From one hangar in Basel, Switzerland, to over 4,500 employees, and some 50 locations worldwide. Aircraft Management, Aircraft Sales, Charter, Completions, Government Services, FBO, Fixed and Rotary Wing Maintenance, and Staffing. Behind every seamless Jet Aviation experience, is a team of dedicated professionals perfecting the art of flight. The artisans of aviation. The craft that brings our customers' journey to life. In the hangar, on the ground, and behind the scenes. Enabling global flight, with passion.

Position Summary

At Jet Aviation, we are artisans of aviation-crafting journeys for our clients in the smoothest form since 1967. Today, our global team of 4,000+ professionals spans 50 locations, united by a passion for service excellence, safety, and the spirit of "enabling global flight." As Regional FBO Director, you will direct all operational aspects of multiple FBO sites-leading customer service, line service, ground support, and more-while shaping our company's future culture as a visible, hands-on leader.

This is not just a management position; it's a career launchpad for aviation change-makers ready to drive initiatives, develop people, and foster an environment where teams thrive together. You will be the critical link between base-level teams and executive leadership, breaking down barriers, advocating for resources, and never losing sight of "how we make work, work for everyone." In this hybrid, high-travel role, you'll champion Jet Aviation's values internally and within the industry.

This is a full time, travel heavy position based out of a Jet Aviation US location. Expect significant travel to your assigned locations. The posted salary ranges will default to that of your regional location and will not include any premiums. Compensation for Dallas-based candidates: $131,000-$188,000. Actual pay will be aligned to your geographic location and experience level applicable to the role.

Lead, Grow, and Make an Impact at Jet Aviation

At Jet Aviation, leadership is about more than operational oversight-it's about being present, building connections, and leaving a legacy of growth. As Regional Director FBO Services, you'll lead by example, shaping a culture where people feel empowered to contribute, innovate, and shine.

You'll engage with every level of the organization, inspire high-performing teams, and drive continuous improvement across our network. Your authentic leadership, approachability, and commitment to our values make a difference not just in how we work, but in the lives and careers of the people around you.

We value leaders who are passionate about developing others, nurturing strong, engaged teams, and collaborating seamlessly to achieve meaningful results. Your ability to break down barriers, advocate for resources, and model open, honest communication will shape the future of our business-and the broader aviation community.

If you're ready to build, grow, and make a lasting impact, join Jet Aviation and help us perfect the art of flight together.

Your Profile

You are a leader who believes in being present-connecting not just with General Managers but with every FBO team member. You know that the best results come from building bridges, removing obstacles, and deeply understanding the day-to-day realities of our people. Candidates with demonstrated FBO leadership experience will stand out, but we value proven people leaders-especially internal talent ready for a broader mandate.

You are authentic, approachable, and skilled at engaging individuals from all backgrounds. Your communication style is open, positive, and always grounded in transparency. You set high standards, hold teams accountable, and are motivated by helping others succeed. If you have strong project management experience, know the aviation business inside out, and possess a contagious drive for quality and customer care, you're precisely who we want.

Your Role
  • Lead and inspire FBO teams to deliver operational excellence-balancing safety, efficiency, and top-tier customer service at every base you support.
  • Work with each location to develop and finalize budgets, aligning operational needs with financial goals and business priorities.
  • Develop, coach, and resource team members across functions; you're energized by time spent "on the floor," listening to feedback, and translating it into action.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and communicative culture where everyone feels heard and empowered to excel.
  • Align site-based operations with Jet Aviation's standards, regulatory requirements, and strategic goals, ensuring full compliance and best-in-class performance.
  • Collaborate with your peers, GMs, and executive leadership to drive improvement, fuel business growth, and uphold the Jet Aviation brand across the industry.
  • Represent Jet Aviation with pride within industry forums, regulatory bodies, and the greater General Dynamics network, reinforcing our reputation for trust, quality, and excellence.
  • Prepare for a future leadership pipeline-this position is designed to grow into senior roles within Jet Aviation.
