Company Description

Company.ai is building a network of category defining AI products in stealth mode. Our first product, Email.com, is launching soon and marks the start of the portfolio/lab going live.

We believe the next decade belongs to vertical AI products that people actually use every day. Each product is standalone, and together they compound through shared identity, shared context, shared distribution, and shared learning loops.

In the AI era, only a few can put it in front of millions of people every day. Distribution is the new defensibility. Competitors are spending millions on ads to explain what they do. We are what they're trying to explain.

A global ecosystem built on network effects. We will own the surfaces people/businesses can't avoid.

The Role

We are looking for a COO who can build an operating function that scales with a multi-product company. Ultra efficient, deeply resourceful, always ahead of time, with line of sight into every corner of the business.

The kind of operator who knows every corner of the internet, can find/build the right tool, vendor, contractor, community, or workaround for any problem, and lives and breathes a problem until it is fully solved, not just patched. Solutions ship clean, with no second order mess, no future complications, and built to scale so the same problem never costs us time twice.

Moves fast internally: coordinates across the team and executives in real time, clears the way for everyone, removes blockers before they become blockers. Deep network across operators, vendors, talent, and partners is a must. Experience across multiple product lines or multi entity structures is a plus.

  • Operations, execution, and cross functional delivery, while also building the fundamentals: planning, hiring, vendor management, internal systems, and operational rigor.
  • Execution: turn strategy into weekly progress, set the cadence, drive accountability across teams, unblock fast, stay on a problem until it is fully closed out
  • Tap fundraising network: open doors to investors, partners, and operators across SF and beyond, accelerate every round and every hire through warm intros.
  • Internal coordination: keep the team and executives in lockstep, fast loops, short threads, clear decisions, no waiting
  • Clear the path: anticipate friction, remove blockers early, make sure every team has what it needs to move
  • Build internal trust: clear plans, clean status, fast decisions, no dropped balls, no surprises
  • Own operational strategy: org design, capacity planning, ops roadmap
  • Build the operating system: planning rhythms, OKRs, weekly reviews, cross product coordination, dashboards, KPIs
  • Solve at root and scale: every fix is durable, documented, automated where possible, and designed so it does not resurface or create downstream issues
  • People and talent ops: hiring strategy, sourcing pipelines, onboarding, performance, comp bands, IC and manager tracks
  • Partner with product and engineering: launch readiness, project management, sequencing, dependency tracking, post mortems
  • Run business operations: vendors, contracts, infrastructure providers, tooling stack, security and compliance posture, office and remote ops, legal coordination

Qualifications

  • Experience scaling operations inside a fast moving startup or multi product environment
  • Prior COO, VP Operations, Head of Operations, Chief of Staff, or equivalent startup operating leadership experience
  • Deep fundraising network across VCs, angels, and operator investors, ready to activate from day one.
  • Demonstrated experience taking a company from one stage to the next: hiring, systems, process, scale
  • Strong command of startup operations: planning, prioritization, capacity, vendor strategy, internal tooling
  • Encyclopedic knowledge of the internet: tools, services, communities, marketplaces, sourcing channels, automation stacks, and the right person or platform for any job
  • Track record of solving problems at the root: durable fixes, no recurring fires, no compounding tech or process debt
  • Strong internal operator: fast cross functional coordination, tight loops with executives, clears blockers before they slow the team
  • Comfort with cross functional mechanics: product launches, GTM coordination, hiring loops, security reviews, compliance basics
  • Ability to create operator grade materials: org plans, hiring plans, project plans, status reports, post mortems, internal memos
  • Strong network across talent, vendors, agencies, infra providers, and operators you can pull from on day one
  • Strong communication: you can explain complex operating decisions simply to founders, ICs, and partners

Work

Direct communication, no politics, clean ownership and accountability. High craft standards across product, engineering, finance, and GTM.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive salary and equity
  • Top tier tooling and support to move fast
