Familiarity with common laboratory equipment, safety protocols, and often proficiency with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) are typically required, and certification (such as ASCP) is a plus. Excellent time management, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask are vital soft skills in this fast-paced role. These competencies are crucial for ensuring accurate results, maintaining safety, and efficiently supporting laboratory operations under tight deadlines.
