Cardiac Catheterization Lab Radiologic Technologist

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift: 4x10-hour schedule from 07:30 AM to 04:00 PM or 09:30 AM to 06:00 PM. On-call required every 4 to 5 weekends.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Catheterization Lab Radiologic Technologist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization experience. The ideal candidate will possess familiarity with special equipment including Impella, IABP, and various catheterization procedures. You will work in a fast-paced environment providing excellent patient care and ensuring safe and efficient operation of radiologic imaging equipment.

Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic cardiac catheterizations and interventional procedures.
  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment during procedures.
  • Monitor patients’ vitals and recognize any life-threatening arrhythmias.
  • Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care.
  • Prepare access sites and maintain a sterile field during procedures.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a cardiac catheterization lab.
  • ARRT (Radiography), ACLS, and BLS certifications required.
  • Experience with GE Innova IGS and Epic charting system preferred.
  • Proficiency in various catheterization techniques and equipment operation.
