Retail Planner Position Summary: Seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Retail Planner to support inventory optimization, assortment planning, and sales forecasting for key retail accounts. This role plays a vital part in aligning product availability with retailer demand and collaborating cross-functionally to meet financial objectives. Experience in retail planning at a national retail chain is required. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with retailer planning teams to determine item-level and program investments, forecast demand, manage inventory levels, and support sales targets. Forecast company demand and oversee inventory pipeline for both replenishment and seasonal buys on a weekly basis. Work with merchandising and product teams to align sales trends with seasonal product development. Analyze historical sales data, sell-through rates, and market trends to guide planning decisions. Monitor inventory pipeline weekly and provide monthly performance summaries to recommend adjustments. Prepare post-season and ad-hoc reports. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with sales, production, and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery. Partner with finance to align planning metrics with budget and margin goals. Communicate forecast changes and their impacts to stakeholders. Systems & Process Management: Maintain accuracy of internal and retailer-specific planning tools. Drive continuous improvements to enhance planning efficiency and agility. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Merchandising, or related field.
