Job description

Blue Blush is a fast-growing wholesale fashion company specializing in women’s apparel, and we are currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Fashion Design Assistant to join our team full-time. This position requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and can adapt to shifting priorities as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Photograph and upload new samples to the company server and designated folders.
  • Communicate with vendors to request fabric swatches, materials, and samples.
  • Assist with creating and coordinating color options for designs.
  • Organize and maintain design tech packs, patterns, and related files.
  • Provide administrative support, including data entry and purchase order follow-up.
  • Collaborate closely with the Sales and Production teams to support daily design operations.
  • Receive, organize, and track fit samples throughout the development process.
  • Maintain a basic understanding of fabrics, garment construction, and sewing techniques.
  • Assist the Design team with various projects and day-to-day tasks as needed.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in the wholesale fashion industry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic knowledge of fabrics, garment construction, and sewing techniques.
  • Fashion Design degree or related education preferred.
  • Strong communication and follow-up skills.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
