We haveopenings for Personal, Life or Commercial Lines Insurance Sales Representativeswithin our agency. The positions offeryou endless opportunities within our company, Farmers Insurance and the insurance industry.

A career in the insurance industry is a very fast paced, mentally demanding, and ultimately very rewarding field. If you have current insurance licenses in Tennessee or Georgiayou may be surprised to find this is the career for you. We provide flexible work schedules, a Farmers Insurance branded office, intensive training to sell with referral networks to sell to.The position provides a base salaryplus a progressivecommission schedule based on performance.Average annual compensationduring training is $72,000 working full time.

Responsibilities
  • Meet new business production goals and objectives as established.
  • Develop insurance quotes, make sales presentations, and close sales.
  • Develop ongoing networking relationships with Real Estate Agents, Mortgage Lenders, Title Companies, Auto Dealers, etc.
  • Ask each customer for referrals and explain our referral program.
  • Thoroughly understand and follow all underwriting, rating and compliance requirements.
  • Prospecting and generating new business through leads referral sources.
  • Contact businesses and private individuals by telephone to promote products, services and/or referral programs.
Requirements
  • Current Tennessee or Georgia Insurance License is required.
  • Candidate must complete regular assessments and demonstrate strong written and verbalcommunication skills.
  • Be a great self-starter with a sense of urgency.
  • Create relationships from a cold start.
  • Prior Sales Experience.
  • Must be highly self-motivated.
