Job description

Title: Strawberry Picker (seasonal) Dept: Field Hours: 21 - 42 hours a week; morning only shifts available Report to: Farm Field Manager Wage: $16.50 - $18.00 an hour depending on experience Under the direction of the Farm Field Manager the Strawberry Picker is a position lasting for the five weeks of strawberry season. Strawberries often ripen around June 5th and stay strong until the 4th of July. Picking takes place in the morning and afternoon

The Strawberry Picker may transition to a Farm Field Hand position for the afternoons during strawberry season or at the completion of strawberry season. We are looking for people who want to work hard, enjoy the company of their fellow workers, produce a worthwhile product, and enjoy the outdoors (rain or shine). This position works well for people who are interested in getting started in the farming industry.

In our daily work we: Pick strawberries daily for 4-8 hours a day in all weather. Record the yield and deliver berries to the Farm Stand. Follow all established procedures.

Maintain our high harvest quality expectations. Harvest quickly, speed is essential. .
