Our Farmers Insurance agency is seeking an Insurance Sales Producer who is ready to build strong customer relationships, develop professionally, and grow within the insurance industry. Insurance experience is helpful, but it is not required. We are willing to train the right person who brings a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a genuine desire to succeed.
What You'll Do
As an Insurance Producer, you will help individuals and families identify insurance solutions that fit their needs. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Contacting prospective customers by phone, email, text, and other approved communication methods
  • Following up consistently with leads and prospective customers
  • Asking thoughtful questions to understand each customer's needs
  • Preparing and presenting insurance quotes
  • Educating customers about available coverage options
  • Selling auto, home, renters, life, business, and other insurance products
  • Cross-selling additional products to new and existing customers
  • Building referral relationships within the community
  • Maintaining accurate records of customer conversations and sales activity
  • Meeting individual and agency sales, activity, and retention goals
  • Participating in sales training, coaching, role-playing, and team meetings
  • Providing professional and responsive service throughout the sales process
  • Following all agency, carrier, and regulatory requirements

Requirements
    • Previous sales, customer service, hospitality, retail, call center, or financial-services experience preferred
    • Property and Casualty insurance license preferred
    • Life and Health insurance license preferred
    • Unlicensed candidates must be willing and able to complete required licensing within an agreed-upon timeframe
    • Basic computer proficiency and the ability to learn agency software and quoting systems
    • Ability to pass applicable background checks and satisfy carrier appointment requirements
