Job Purpose:

We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Operations Manager to translate company operational priorities into executable projects and measurable outcomes. In this role, you will lead cross-functional operational initiatives across Warehouse, Logistics, and Operations Systems while partnering closely with Customer Service, Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain, Quality, Product, and IT. The ideal candidate is passionate about driving operational excellence through project execution, KPI management, continuous improvement, and leadership development, with a focus on building scalable processes rather than managing day-to-day operational tasks.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Translate company strategy into operational projects with clear owners, timelines, milestones, and success metrics.
  • Lead cross-functional projects and remove roadblocks to ensure timely execution.
  • Oversee warehouse operations through supervisors and managers rather than direct daily task execution.
  • Build and maintain KPI dashboards for Warehouse, Fulfillment, Inventory, Logistics, 3PL, labor productivity, operational cost, and service levels.
  • Drive continuous improvement through root cause analysis, SOP development, process standardization, automation opportunities, and preventive actions.
  • Identify and execute cost-saving initiatives involving labor, packaging, shipping, inventory, machine, waste reduction, and process optimization.
  • Partner with the Operations Systems team to improve ERP, WMS, reporting, automation, and operational workflows.
  • Coordinate closely with Customer Service, Supply Chain, Logistics, Quality, Product, and IT to improve execution efficiency and eliminate communication bottlenecks.
  • Maintain visibility of all operational projects, risks, and action items through regular project reviews.
  • Develop supervisors into independent leaders through coaching, accountability, and performance management.
  • Ensure compliance with safety policies, quality standards, and company procedures.
  • New warehouse and 3PL warehouse setup.
  • Create and implement strategy to support and achieve short-term and long-term Company goals.
  • Encourage and build mutual trust, respect, and cooperation among team members.
  • Follow Company safety and quality procedures, and other policies and guidelines governing Company operations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the leadership of the Company.

Requirements

  • Fluent English and Mandarin Chinese (spoken and written) is REQUIRED. This role works directly with China Supply Chain, Quality, Product, and IT teams on a daily basis.
  • 5+ years of Operations Management, Warehouse Management, Fulfillment, Distribution leadership experience.
  • Strong project management and cross-functional leadership experience.
  • Experience building and managing operational KPIs and dashboards.
  • Experience with ERP and WMS systems.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience leading operational improvement and cost reduction initiatives.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of OSHA safety requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

  • DTC/eCommerce fulfillment experience.
  • 3PL management experience.
  • Lean, Six Sigma, or Continuous Improvement experience.
  • Experience implementing operational systems or automation.

Physical Demands:

This position primarily involves working at a desk and operating a computer for prolonged periods with moderate walking and standing.
