This role is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining agricultural equipment to keep operations running smoothly during critical planting and harvest seasons.ResponsibilitiesDiagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues on farm equipment (tractors, combines, planters, and related machinery)Perform routine maintenance and preventive service to minimize equipment downtimeFabricate or repair parts as needed using welding and machining skillsRead and interpret service manuals, wiring diagrams, and technical bulletinsMaintain accurate service records and parts inventoryRespond to on-site or field repair calls as needed, including during peak seasonsFollow all safety protocols and proceduresQualifications5+ years of hands-on experience repairing and maintaining farm equipment requiredStrong mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical troubleshooting skillsValid CDL preferredAbility to work independently and manage multiple repair prioritiesWillingness to work extended hours during planting/harvest seasonsHigh school diploma or GEDBenefitsPay based on experiencePay range is $25 - $35 per hour
