Project Scheduler
This is your chance to join the rapidly growing commercial solar energy business. FLEXRACK by Qcells is an integrated solar company that offers custom-designed, fixed tilt ground mount and single-axis solar tracking systems in the commercial and utility-scale solar mounting industries. FLEXRACK by Qcells also offers full services, including engineering, geotechnical, pullout testing, field, and layout design services to address the actual site conditions of a project site. FlexRack has completed over 3.5 GW of solar racking installations in over 40 U.S. states, 9 Canadian provinces and across the globe.
SUMMARY
In this role, you will be collaborating with project managers, logistics, customers and contacts on site at solar projects. You may also prepare project progress and performance evaluation reports. To ensure success, a project scheduler should possess solid industry knowledge and demonstrable experience in project scheduling. A top-notch project scheduler will be someone whose expertise leads to the successful realization of project goals. This position reports to Project Manager , or another management personnel that the President of the Company may designate. This position is located in Highland Hills office and working hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:00am to 5:00pm or 9:00am to 6:00pm local time. Overtime and weekend working hours may be required as needed. This position is expected to travel up to 5%.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Consult with project managers and logistics personnel to develop project delivery schedules.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain an effective scheduling management system.
  • Monitoring project timelines and deadlines.
  • Provide and update delivery schedules in a consistent, easy to understand format.
  • Coordinate project timelines with internal departments, customers and site contacts.
  • Identify potential project schedule delays and facilitate intervention in a timely manner.
  • Evaluate delivery performance and prepare project progress reports.
  • Keep project budget and customer requirements aligned and prioritize actions to

keep projects within budget and completed on time to every extent possible.
  • Keep stakeholders informed of project timelines and deadlines.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in project management, or in a related field, or related years of professional experience.
  • A minimum of two years' experience as a project scheduler in a related industry.
  • Advanced proficiency in project scheduling software
  • Extensive experience in schedule planning and management.
  • In-depth knowledge of the scope of projects within the industry.
  • Advanced ability to evaluate project progress and facilitate interventions.
  • Ability to keep stakeholders informed of project timelines and changes.
  • Excellent organizational, time-management, and communication skills.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
  • Stationary Position: frequently remains stationary up to 90% of the time and sitting up to 8 hours in a day
