RN - FAMILY MEDICINE
Join our Family Medicine Clinic team at Moab Regional Hospital!
Rural nursing at its finest!
You are an individual that enjoys the rapid pace of a thriving family medicine clinic and the excitement and variety of skills that come along with it.
This position is a non-exempt, full-time, benefitted position.
Anticipated schedule: Monday-Friday, approximately 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Starting pay range: $32.92 - $46.88/hour, DOE.
A sign-on bonus is available for permanent, full-time hire.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Provide professional nursing care to patients in the clinic/outpatient setting in compliance with professional practice standards.
  • Promote a collaborative, interdisciplinary approach towards patients, families and all members of the care delivery team.
  • Use the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care needs. This includes assessing patient's condition, triaging patient phone calls, counseling patients, providing patient education, taking patient histories, perform screenings, and administration of vaccinations and medications.
  • Document patient care in the healthcare record according to established standards.
  • Ensure own professional effectiveness through education and professional development.
  • Participate in the development of and maintains established policies, procedures and objectives; quality improvement; safety; environmental and infection prevention programs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • One year of experience as a registered nurse preferred.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of and ability to apply age specific principles of growth and development and life stages to meet each patient's needs.
  • Current Utah Registered Nurse licensure
  • Ability to multi-task effectively in a fast paced work environment.
  • Strong critical thinking skills and ability to problem solve independently.
  • Able to lift/move up to 20 lbs. without assistance and lift/move weights beyond 20 lbs. with assistance.
