• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs, utilizing evidence-based practices to devise and implement personalized treatment plans.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing modalities such as CBT and DBT, to support clients in developing resilience and coping strategies.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential clinical records, adhering to HIPAA regulations and ethical standards of practice.
• Engage collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team, which includes psychiatrists and psychologists, to create integrated care plans that address all facets of a client's well-being.
• Participate in continuous education and case review meetings, sharing insights and strategies to enhance the therapeutic approach across the team.
• Educate clients and their families about mental health disorders, treatment modalities, and community resources to empower them in navigating their mental health journeys.
• Stay informed about advancements in mental health care and integrate recent research findings into therapeutic practices to enhance client outcomes.

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist at Family First Choice Counseling Center, you will work with a diverse range of clients including children, adolescents, and adults facing various mental health challenges. The focus is on clients struggling with trauma, anxiety, depression, and other co-occurring disorders. Your role is pivotal in supporting a broad spectrum of individuals and fostering their journey toward healing and wellness.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
• Possession of an active license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Georgia.
• Strong expertise in solution-focused therapeutic methodologies, enabling personalized treatment approaches tailored to individual client needs.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, facilitating the establishment of trusting therapeutic relationships.
• Proficient problem-solving and critical thinking capabilities, essential for navigating complex counseling scenarios effectively.
• A collaborative mindset, valuing teamwork and the positive contributions of colleagues in delivering holistic care.

• Experience in community mental health settings or outpatient clinics, particularly in providing therapy to varied populations, is highly advantageous.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to maintain thorough and compliant client documentation.
• Engagement in ongoing professional development and continuing education related to mental health practices and modalities.
