Family Matters Care Consultants is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our team in a fully remote capacity. This full-time role involves providing specialized telehealth services focused on supporting individuals impacted by trauma, including those suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. With yearly compensation ranging from $90,000 to $110,000, you will play a pivotal role in guiding clients through their healing processes.

As a Mental Health Therapist, you will be responsible for:

• Conducting comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to understand each patient's unique history and needs, thereby informing personalized treatment plans.
• Creating, implementing, and regularly reviewing individualized treatment strategies aimed at trauma recovery and building resilience.
• Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to facilitate healing.
• Leading both individual and group therapy sessions that focus on processing traumatic experiences and developing effective coping mechanisms.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, social workers, and support staff to provide cohesive and integrated care for our patients.
• Responding to crisis situations with immediate intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies.
• Educating clients and their families on trauma responses and available resources to aid in recovery.
• Ensuring meticulous and confidential documentation in compliance with professional and legal standards.
• Actively participating in team case consultations and maintaining a commitment to continuous professional development in trauma care.

The patients you will work with are primarily individuals grappling with the aftermath of traumatic experiences. They may range from adults coping with PTSD to children and families experiencing complex trauma. You will have the opportunity to impact their lives significantly through your therapeutic interventions, helping them reclaim their narrative and foster resilience.

To thrive in this role, you will need:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the State of Washington.
• A solid foundation in trauma-informed care practices and a strong understanding of trauma-related disorders.

While a minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is preferred, specific experience in providing trauma-focused therapies and interventions will be highly valued. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, along with the ability to maintain composure during high-stress situations, are essential attributes for a successful candidate.
