Public Safety Officer – Timbers Town Center

Location: Timbers Town Center (formerly The Shops at Fallen Timbers) – Maumee, Ohio

Timbers Town Center, formerly The Shops at Fallen Timbers, is looking for dependable, professional, and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Public Safety Officers.

Our Public Safety Officers play an important role in maintaining a safe, welcoming, and professional environment for our guests, tenants, and employees. This position is a great fit for someone who enjoys working with people, has strong situational awareness, and can remain calm and professional when responding to a variety of situations.

Current Openings

We are currently hiring for the following Public Safety Officer positions:

  • 1st Shift: Saturday–Sunday
  • 3rd Shift: Friday–Sunday

What You'll Do

As a Public Safety Officer, you will help protect the safety and security of guests, tenants, employees, and property throughout Timbers Town Center. Responsibilities include:

  • Patrol interior and exterior areas of the property on foot and by vehicle.
  • Provide friendly, professional assistance and customer service to tenants and guests.
  • Monitor the property for suspicious activity, safety hazards, and policy violations.
  • Respond to medical emergencies, disturbances, alarms, fires, and other incidents.
  • Complete accurate incident reports and daily activity logs.
  • Assist guests with directions, vehicle escorts, lost property, and other requests.
  • Conduct routine inspections of service corridors, vacant spaces, and other designated areas.
  • Assist with crowd management, traffic control, and special events.
  • Monitor contractors and vendors working on the property.
  • Assist emergency responders and coordinate with local law enforcement, fire, and EMS when necessary.
  • Help maintain Public Safety equipment and report concerns to supervisors.
  • Serve as a visible and professional ambassador for Timbers Town Center.
What We're Looking For
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Previous public safety, law enforcement, military, security, or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Must be able to successfully complete a background check and drug screen.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Good observation skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment and remain calm under pressure.
  • Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with guests, tenants, coworkers, and emergency responders.
  • Dependable, professional, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
Physical amp; Work Requirements

This is an active position that requires frequent walking, standing, climbing stairs, bending, driving, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Public Safety Officers work throughout the property in both indoor and outdoor environments and must be able to respond quickly to emergencies when necessary.
