Lead Electrical Working Foreman Coordinate Commercial Electrical Installations and Field Teams

The Opportunity You will serve as a pivotal field leader, balancing hands-on electrical craftsmanship with the responsibility of guiding a crew to success. This role is designed for a high-capacity professional who excels at troubleshooting complex systems while representing the company with integrity to every customer. How You Will Make an Impact

  • Direct and supervise field crews and apprentices to ensure the accurate installation of electrical systems and equipment.

  • Execute the installation and termination of critical components, including switchgear, panels, and transformers.

  • Interpret complex blueprints and schematics to layout underground rough-ins and circuit pathways correctly.

  • Calculate pipe and wiring sizes onsite to maintain project flow and technical precision.

  • Operate specialized machinery including hydraulic benders, wire tuggers, and aerial lifts to complete high-altitude assignments.

  • Troubleshoot circuitry and system failures independently to prevent project delays and ensure client satisfaction.

  • Maintain a safe working environment by strictly enforcing Lockout/Tagout procedures and company safety policies.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in commercial electrical construction or as a lead journeyman.

  • Proven ability to direct less experienced team members and manage small-scale project logistics.

  • Technical proficiency in bending conduit by hand and operating heavy power tools and equipment.

  • Ability to work from heights up to 90 feet and navigate restricted spaces such as utility tunnels or crawl spaces.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience operating heavy machinery such as trenchers, backhoes, or specialized lift trucks.

  • Advanced knowledge of switchgear room layouts and large-scale commercial power distribution.

  • Demonstrated history of positive client interaction and field representation.
